Dr.  Raynah Fernandes graduated with Honors in 2008, obtaining her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Toronto. She earned the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario Award (RCDSO) in Ethics and Jurisprudence and received multiple awards and research scholarships during dental school.  She has published in the Ontario Dental Association Journal as well. She is passionate about dentistry, her patients, and loves working with people of all ages. She is a member of the International Association of Orthodontics, and treats all ages with fixed and removable options, including braces and Invisalign. She is also certified in conscious sedation, and oral moderate sedation which she uses when treating patients with dental anxieties. She is known for her gentle freezing technique and her humming while working on patients.

Craig has worked as the Office Manager for Willow West Dental since 2018. Craig is a graduate from Devry University, where he received a degree in Computer programming.

After graduation, Craig launched his career at Pepsi Bottling Group, where he worked for 19 years in various Finance Departments. He recently moved from Mississauga to Guelph with his wife Dr. Raynah Fernandes and their 3 boys.

Craig’s hobbies and interests are Tennis, Table Tennis and Basketball

Michelle has been a part of the Willow West Dental Office reception team since 2016.   Michelle comes to the dental field after originally working in the Radio Broadcasting Industry.  

She’s an extremely empathetic and helpful individual who always does her best to cater to our patient's needs. When Michelle is not interacting with patients, she is spending time with her husband, young son and English Bulldog, Milo. 

Shiva graduated from the Canadian Institute of Dental Hygiene in 2004. She is a self-initiated Registered Dental Hygienist in Ontario and has been practicing hygiene for the last fifteen years at Willow West Dental Office. Shiva is passionate about improving the dental health of her patients and educating them about the latest advancements in dental technology and treatment options. 

She has been proactive in attending continuing education courses in various aspects of dentistry, including soft tissue management, laser therapy, treatment coordination, infection control, and office management. Shiva’s gentle and positive approach makes her patients feel relaxed and comfortable during their visits.

Her attention to details and professionalism is truly appreciated by her patients and her colleagues. In her spare time, Shiva enjoys traveling the world, camping, hiking and watching movies.

Dr. Abraam Dawod is a graduate of Ain Shams University Faculty of Dentistry in Cairo, Egypt (2002), and the University of Western Ontario’s Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry. He is an active member of the Ontario Dental Association (ODA), and the Academy of General Dentists. Dr. Dawod likes all aspects of dentistry and takes a particular interest in ensuring that his patients have a pleasant and relaxing dental experience. He has a sweet spot for KitKat and in his spare time, he enjoys fishing, drawing, and reading.

Cristina is a Self Initiated Registered Dental Hygienist. She graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at Niagara College in 1998, and has been with the Willow West team for over 21 years. Cristina continues to maintain her knowledge and skills through various continuing education courses and programs. 

Cristina prides her self in providing her clients with quality dental hygiene care while expressing compassion and understanding. Over the years she has made it a priority to get to know her clients and their needs so they can trust and rely on her.

In her free time Cristina spends her time with her family. She can be found in the stands, on the field or behind stage cheering her children on. 

Branka is certified dental assistant level II, graduated with honors from the Medix College in Kitchener.

She has been a member of the team Willow West Dental for over 10 years. Her compassion,understanding and patience make her an excellent part of the team.

Branka spends her spare time with family,friends and travelling.

Sheila has enjoyed being a Dental Assistant and Receptionist for 30+ years.

​

Her spare time is spent with her better half, new dog Millie, walking, reading, and watching old movies and TV shows.

Sheila has been at Willow West Dental for over 20 years.

Bobbi is a mom of three that has worked for Willow West Dental since 2000. She graduated from the Office Administration Program at Sheridan College in 1996.

She would be happy to assist you with your scheduling needs and financial questions. She enjoys reading, movies and spending time with friends and family.

Carla joins us from more than 15 years in the hospitality industry; including 8 years running and working in restaurants in Australia and New Zealand. She has a diploma in business management and is an import to Guelph from the Ottawa area.

You will likely hear her before you see her, spending most of her day in the ortho office. When she isn't at work, she is likely axe throwing or online gaming. She is happy to help, loves coffee, spreadsheets, and talking about her cat, Gremlin.

Amanda has been working in the dental field since 2011. She recently rejoined our team at WWD. When Amanda is not in the office, she enjoys being with her family and dog. In her spare time she enjoys watching movies, painting and puzzles. 

Lauren graduated from Mohawk College with a diploma in office administration - health services. She has always been interested in learning how the human body functions and is currently applying that knowledge to the field of dentistry. Lauren has been coming to WWD since she was 13 and has always loved the friendly environment in the office. In her spare time, Lauren enjoys playing games with family, spending time with friends, and trying new needlework crafts.
